Randy Blundon

Randy grew up in the fishing village of Bay de Verde, Conception Bay and now makes his home in St. John's, the capital city of Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada's most easterly province.

He works primarily in oil but also works in acrylic, watercolour, pen & ink, charcoal and graphite.

While he paints a variety of subjects, Randy mostly enjoys painting the landscapes and seascapes of Newfoundland and Labrador, especially barren lands that are typical of the Avalon Peninsula and also of the Burin Peninsula and Labrador where he has also resided.

Randy has attended workshops and courses with well known local artists as well as workshops and courses at St. Michael's Printshop and Memorial University. He continually studies the work of many other artists including the work of past artists such as the French Impressionists and Canada's Group of Seven.

His work is included in the collection of the governments of Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador, and the City of Mount Pearl as well as many private and corporate collections.
